Fun with Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Viewers!
It's me again! Guess what happened today! I got a play with Charlie (my brother).
In the morning mum went out and I was left with dad. Dad isn't the best supervisor so I was able to explore the cats room! Smokey's food isn't very tasty but his bed is so comfy! Dad took me outside and he walked me around the trees on my lead.
At 3:00 mum put me in the car and we all drove to Charlie's house! I was very tired when I got out so I was about to snooze when WHAM!!!! Charlie ran at me! We played for ages until Mum gave me some food. Charlie tried to eat some but I showed him who's boss! We continued play fighting after the meal until Charlie decided he needed water. I decided that I wanted water as well so I pushed Charlie out of the way! Charlie kept trying to get the water so I decided if I couldn't have the water, no one could. I put my paw in the bowl and splashed it all out. Mum didn't seem to like getting splashed!
I was running around the garden when I realised mum was in the in a big blue thing. Dad said it was called a pool so I decided to check it out. I walked over and then I took a step onto it! SPLASH!!! The ground had disappeared! I realised that the pool was actually a giant drinking bowl! Mum dried me off and I went to sleep with Charlie!

Going Public!

It's me Scamper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday I went to Charlie's house! They had some friends over so I got a really long play with Charlie! I wanted to go in the pool 'cause it was really hot but Charlie was too scared! I got in anyway and it was really fun. We weren't allowed to go in the house because mum said we were too dirty but we were only a little wet.

I also had a bath. The day mum chose for the bath had to be the coldest yet! It even started raining! I was hoping to smell like tutti-frutti-rainbow-unicorn-delight after the shower but NO!!!! Mum decided to het the oatmeal scented shampoo :(

I also went to the vets! Mum said it might hurt when I get my injections but it didn't, it was kind of boring I ended up falling asleep! On Wednesday I will be allowed to go out in public! I'm really excited because we're all going for a walk around the reserve with the next door neighbors dog.

Giant water bowl?

Hi Viewers! It's me Scamper.
Sorry I've been gone for such along time, I wrote this post but the laptop crashed! I now have a new laptop so hopefully I can update more often!
Anyway on Monday I went to my brother Charlie's house! I was very tired when we got there so I just wanted to sleep... BUT NO! Charlie bolted out of the doors and started chasing me! We played like this until mum gave me some food, we started fighting over the food! I went to go lie down when I noticed something. Charlie had water! I decided I was thirst so I shoved him out of the way and started to drink. Charlie jumped on top of me and pushed me away! I decided that if I couldn't have the water no one could! I put my paw in and tipped over the bowl!

Later that day mum was in a 'pool' I wasn't sure what a 'pool' was but I wanted to find out! I trotted over and walked right onto it. SPLASH!!! I fell in the water! I paddled as hard as I could to the side. Dad lifted me out and wrapped me in a towel. I realised that they a tricked me! The 'pool' was actually a giant water bowl!
I curled up with Charlie and we both went to sleep.

Baby Scamper!

Hi Viewers – It’s me Scamper again!

What a day yesterday!  Man, I woke up and I wasn’t feeling too flash!  I have had a bit of a tummy upset recently.  Mum decided to take me to the vet.  They have given me some things called probiotics.  They are fantastic.  I felt as right as rain straightaway.  To tell the truth, I wasn’t really feeling that bad; humans are easily kidded – especially first time dog owners!  And guess what? Mission accomplished, the vet gave me some really nice dog food! Yippee!

Now I have my bounce back and I am up to all sorts of mischief.  I have just managed to find my way in to the cat’s room.  I played with one of his toys and sat in his basket.  Daddy wasn’t pleased but it will let the cat know who is boss!

It’s raining like mad now.  They say it’s raining cats and dogs.  Well, I don’t know where this saying comes from but I’m certainly going to make Mum and Dad walk me in the downpour; they will love it.

Me as a baby!

The Vets!!!!

Hi Viewers!
Today I went to the vet, DUN DUN DUN!!!! It was all okay though:) I have been having a sore tummy for a couple of days now so we went to get it checked. The vet said that I a bacterial infection which is why I was ill! I prescribed me some medicine and some delicious new food. The food is chicken and rice and it is the best thing ever!!!!!
When I got home I got some medicine which made me feel a bit better. I played outside with mum in the sun. It was so hot I couldn't do that much but sleep!
In the evening it was cooler so I played in my playpen with mum! At dinner time we all ate together outside and then we had to come in 'cause there were lots of mosquitos. Mum put me in my crate but I got lonely so she let me out!
Hopefully I'll be better next time I write in this blog:)

Sorry todays blog post will be quite short, It was very hot today! I spent most of my time sleeping and snoozing and resting and napping!
I had just gone for my afternoon snooze when I was woken up by four new people! We played together outside with billybull! I got lots of cuddles and it was so much fun!
As you can probably see I added a poll! So please fill in you favourite dog breed (Which should be a retrodoodle)

Supermarket Shopping

Hi viewers :)
I'm Back!!! I had a great sleep last night until I heard huge feet stamping down the hallway! Was it a monster? Was it a bear? Was it a lion? No, it was dad...
He had decided to wake me up at 5:00 O, CLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!! He took me outside to the bathroom then put me down so I could play for a bit. I had just settled into my bed when... YES!!!!! Sounded from the room next to me. I jumped up and realised dad was watching football! Trying to block out his cheering and celebrating AND shouting was hard but I eventually went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and was let out for a play. I played with my toys; Chewie mouse, Billie bull and Chewie duck! I had a short snooze before I was picked up and carried to the car. I was scared I was going to the vet so I tried to get loose! But it didn't work:(
I found out soon enough that I wasn't going to the vets! That made my day! Mum held me outside the supermarket where heaps of people patted and cuddled me! I was probably the most popular dog ever!

When I got home I had a loooong sleep! I slept through lunch, then I got up and moved to another sleeping position! When I next woke up mum took me outside. Mum put me on the ground, then walked a few steps away before rustling the leaves and calling me. I ran towards her and she gave me a huge cuddle! Mum and dad continued this for a while, it was so much fun! This ended however when mum tricked me into getting sprayed by the sprinkler!

After that I went to bed!

Potty training & Chewie mouse!

It’s me again, Scamper! Well, what a bbq last night! Mum and dad brought my playpen over so that I wouldn’t get lost. They set it up on the deck and I could play in it. I decided that it would be better to sleep! When I woke up everyone had gone inside without me! I cried to let them know that I was lonely, and mum came out and picked me up. She put me down inside to let me run around. When I was running around I realised I needed the bathroom! No one else seemed to find it funny and mum didn’t enjoy cleaning it up!

I got very tired so mum had to carry me home and put me to bed. I woke up every three hours to go to the bathroom outside! It was so much fun being able to wake mum up whenever I wanted!

At 7:00 I woke up and had my breakfast! I went to play outside with my favourite toy Chewie Mouse!!! He has rope legs and arms and squeaks! My mouth is still a bit to small to fit around his squeaker but he’s still cute! After that play I decided I needed a snoozeJ

Mum woke me up to use the little puppy room! We played together with Chewie mouse and Chewie duck. We also went for a run around the house! (It was very tiring) Mum had to carry me up to bed where I had another sleep.

I got let out of my crate and was allowed to run around! I love biting dads legs! Thanks for reading everyone ~ ScamperJ

Hi Viewers!
It's me Scamper! I just woke up and decided to write another post! It's really hot here so I like lying on the cold wood floor to cool down!
When I woke up I was staring in the face of a Cat!!!!!!! He is my family's cat so I was told not to chase him. The cat's name is Smokey and he is pitch black, he seems just as scared of me as I am of him!

Tonight my mum and dad said we are going to a barbeque! We're going to bring my playpen so I don't get lost! I was hoping that I could sneak some sausages from the grill but I'm not allowed to!:(
We're going to a friends house just across the street, hopefully they have a puppy I can play with!

TOY UPDATE.
This is a new section I am starting to share with you what my favourite toys are!
Today my favourite toy is the Kong puppy in blue. I like when my mum throws it and I can chase after it!

New Home!

Hey Blog readers!
My name is Scamper and I'm a retrodoodle! That means my mum's a golden retriever and my dad's a poodle.
Today I went on a really long plane flight; all the way from Auckland to Palmerston North! I travelled with my brother Charlie. When our flight landed we got picked up by two people and put in their car. We drove for a long time before we stopped and we were allowed to play in a friend's garden.
We were just settling in when we were scooped up again and put back in the car! Luckily it wasn't a very long drive and the next time we stopped was at my new Mum's house! Me and Charlie were put down in the garden and were allowed to play:)
We played for about five minutes before Charlie had to leave to go to his new parents house. Mum picked me up and brought me inside to my new bed. It had been a VERY tiring day so I went to sleep very quickly!
